The morning star faded as the Sun rose; John the Baptist moved away from the limelight as the Lord Jesus Christ took centre-stage. His ministry began with a remarkable baptism, after which Luke gives us his family tree. This event and this record combine to give a remarkable testimony about who Jesus is, and how he relates to needy people like us.
