Jesus' temptation in the wilderness

After Jesus' baptism, he went out into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil for 40 days. This temptation was critical to establish that he as the Son of God, who had come to bring the blessing to mankind that Adam and Israel had failed to do. We can see here the tests he was presented with, how he handled them, and how he manifested his qualifications to be our Redeemer.
