The healing of the deaf and mute boy

After coming down from the mountain, Jesus healed a man's son who had an evil spirit. But he did not heal him straight away - he waited, and challenged the man. Without faith it is impossible to please God; but what is faith? And what should we do if we have faith but it is weak? We also see how the boy's condition is a powerful illustration of the nature of sin, and that only Jesus holds out any hope for us.
