The coming of the king

Adobe Acrobat

A few days before his death, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. In doing so, he came to God's chosen city, at the time of one of God's appointed festivals, to announce his arrival as God's chosen king. Yet his kingdom was not to be as many imagined - and his arrival had many surprising features too. What are we to learn from this event about Jesus' kingship, and his kingdom?
