The ninth commandment is, "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour". This is the second commandment to deal directly with our use of words. The command begins in a legal situation, but extends to cover all of our use of words. Jesus said that by our words we would be condemned or acquitted on the day of judgment. This sermon aims to show how searching this commandment is, and how much we need Jesus to be our Saviour.
