After teaching in the temple and condemning the false leaders of Israel who had gathered there, Jesus left. Now he taught his disciples about the temple's destruction. Here we see the awesome wrath of God, his mercy to his people, and many helpful lessons about how to keep going in the trials that must come to every Christian, as well as our story of how the Jewish nation became a world-wide church of believers.
